What is "Nerikomi"?
"Nerikomi" is a traditional Japanese pottery technique steeped in a long, rich history.
Instead of painting patterns onto the surface, pigments are blended directly into the clay to create vibrant, beautiful colors.
These colored clays are meticulously layered and sliced—similar to the intricate process of creating mosaic art—to form stunning patterns that run all the way through the piece.

【練りこみとは？】
練り込み（ねりこみ）は、長い歴史を持つ日本の伝統的な陶芸技法です。
表面に絵柄を描くのではなく、粘土に直接顔料を混ぜ合わせることで、鮮やかで美しい色合いを生み出します。こうして作られた色粘土を、まるでモザイクアートのように緻密に重ね合わせ、薄くスライスしていく。
